Dee Zee Technology Innovation is under the roof at Dee Zee. America's Heartland gives way to five buildings comprised of almost 700,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing, packaging, warehouse and shipping. State of the art machines within these walls equip Dee Zee to set trends in the market.
Dee Zee was among the first to offer factory controlled powder-coat protection to aluminum products. Whether the coating is clear or black, the powder-coat finish prevents oxidation on the material to last the LIFE of your truck.
Dee Zee has the ability to put some materials through an in-house vacuum metallization process. A very thin layer of metal is applied to the desired surface to produce a brilliant shine. This eco-friendly process limits damaging waste into the Earth.
When Dee Zee is in need of a new machine or die, they don't have to look far. Dee Zee operates Tool and Die facility to produce in-house machines, CNC machining programs, and die-castings. Dee Zee also operates a Stamping facility with various presses to produce complex die stampings.
The uses of robotics in Dee Zee facilities provide accuracy and efficiency. The robots not only allow Dee Zee to keep the cost of their products lower, but ensure damage free product handling and precision welding techniques.

Go Boxes
GOBOXES, LLC, introduced their new line of patent pending, premium quality, logo shaped toolboxes at the 2007 SEMA show. John Whitaker, designer and President of GOBOXES, LLC, has taken some of the world’s most recognizable trademarks, the Chevrolet Bowtie and the Ford oval and turned an ordinary toolbox into a piece of art that any car enthusiast would love to have in their garage. The product that started it all was the 57”w x 21”h x 18”d top chest manufactured in the shape of the Chevrolet Bowtie.
Then John had the idea to make another version of the bowtie box in the same width and height dimensions, but only 10” deep. A wall mount bracket is provided with this unit. This is a very popular item for owners that need a toolbox they can mount in their trailer or for the mechanic that already has a combination toolbox but wants to add a useful special effect to their garage wall. The first two full size bowtie models attracted so much interest the product line was expanded to include a 27”w x 10”h x 7”deep, portable box that could be used for tools or detail supplies.
After the success of the portable bowtie shaped box, John designed an oval shaped box and the Ford product line was introduced. The oval portable boxes are being requested by other companies that have oval shaped logos. GOBOXES is working with those companies to customize the boxes with decals and specialized paint details that show off their brand’s logo.
John is currently working on designing a large box for the Ford brand fans. He is also working on products for the Dodge and Mopar enthusiast. Also, GOBOXES is planning on introducing a line of garage storage systems and accessories.
All of the tool boxes feature a heavy duty powder coated finish and some are supplied with a high gloss decal.
